Christmas Meaning

So, a peer sent this revision of A Charlie Brown Christmas to me this week and I’ve been pondering it.  A Charlie Brown Christmas is one of my favorite holiday cartoons coming in a close second to How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  It is a reminder about how Christianity has absorbed traditions and claimed them as their own.  This does not make the Christmas celebration less meaningful, but provides perspective for those that practice the faith.  Visit the website, New2Torah.com.

Photos of the Day

The Christian Science Monitor has a section called, Photos of the Day, which is good stop on your daily web surf.  One of the photos for Dec. 9 that caught my attention was a person setting a tamed golden eagle free to hunt during a competition.  I wonder if this person owns a cell phone, uses email, and keeps this ancient way of hunting alive?
